This texture package is only needed if you plan on using/setting the maximum texture size to 1024 or 2048 in the video settings of the game. The 2048 setting is only for high resolution cockpit textures and select planes. All other high resolution textures will still be 1024. It is worth noting, when using this high texture setting, there could be performance issues. |
