Players may make some adjustments to flight characteristics in Aces High by clicking Options->Preferences->Flight from the clipboard menu.
Auto Takeoff in an aircraft will get the
plane into the air and into auto-climb. Any movement of the joystick or rudders will disengage the Auto Takeoff. "Auto takeoff enabled" is displayed across the gunsight of the plane until Auto Takeoff is disengaged. With this option enabled, all you need to do is to supply throttle input to takeoff.
No Tracers turns off the tracer round when firing bullets.
Auto Combat Trim automatically adjusts the trim tabs to the air speed. This is not a precise adjustment.
Enable Stall Limiter adjusts the maximum angle of attack (AoA) below the stall. The stall limit value is set with the StallLimitAoA variable in the Arena Settings. Also make sure the Stall Limit Enabled box is checked in the Arena Settings FlightModeFlags.
Auto Film Sorties, when checked, will force the game to record each sortie automatically. At the end of a sortie you will be asked if you want to save the film and are given the oppertunity to provide a file name to save it as.
