The October Special Events calendar has been posted, and it’s a busy month for sure. We thought we would give you an overview of the month so you can plan ahead.
On the 14th, 21st, and 28th, which are Sundays, we have our Sunday European Campaign Special Event. They all start at 3:30 pm EST. Also, on the 14th, we are holding a “This Day In History” event that you won’t want to miss.
Every Tuesday of the month we have our Aces High XTreme Racing League, or AHXAR. It always starts at 10:00 pm EST, and it is kind of a free-for-all race around obstacles and it is serious fun.
Every Wednesday of the month we will hold a Snapshot, which is sort of a scenario event. They are all held at 10:00 pm EDT, and they are great for learning the ropes in large-scale scenario play.
On Friday, the 5th, we have a FSO, or Friday Squad Operation. Frame 2 and Frame 3 of the FSO will be held on the 12th and 19th. In addition, on the 12th we have our FriKOTH, or Friday King of the Hill, another free-for-all that promises some hectic and fast-paced fun and challenge.
Finally, on Saturdays, the 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, we have our Scenario Der Grosse Schlag II, and a special Saturday King of the Hill on the 20th.
That, my friends, is a full month of Special Events, designed to challenge the novice gamer as well as the veteran flight sim player. So why should you play? Well, the first reason is because special events make you a better player. You will be playing against the best combat flight sim players in the universe so naturally you will learn some tricks and improve your game.
Also, this gives you an opportunity to become a part of our Aces High community. You can make friends, or form your own squads and compete as a friendly team. It’s all about of enriching your experience on Aces High.
Our volunteers spend countless hours organizing these special events and they do a great job.
