WWII History

Here is a question we are often asked at HiTechCreations: Why should a flight sim player choose Aces High?  What does Aces High offer that other combat flight simulators don’t offer?

A fair question to be sure so let’s take a look at the reasons we believe Aces High is the best World War 2 Flight Simulator on the market.

What do you think?  Listen, we have been around for over a decade now and do you seriously think we would still be in business if we were not as good as we say we are?  Maybe, though, you are just hard to persuade.  Well, take a look at our Special Events:

  • King of the Hill
  • Xtreme Air Racing
  • Snapshots
  • This Day in WW2
  • HMS Enduro Race

And the list goes on and on.  In fact, if you were to look at our Special Events calendar each and every month you would find fifteen-to twenty Special Events offered every single month of the calendar year, so not only can you just sign in any old day and have some thrills but you can also sign up for Special Events and take on the best flight sim gamers in the world in some extra-curricular activities that are sure to test your skills.

Give us a try! What do you have to lose? We are giving the game away for two weeks free and why would we do that? Because we are confident that once you play Aces High you will be hooked on the excitement and challenge.  Strap on your helmets and fly the Ace High skies.

We are not sure if you have seen a neat feature we have but if not let us turn your attention to the support link and under that look for Forums.

In the Forums sections is a forum called Wishlist.  This is kind of cool in that you can drop suggestions about things you would like to see on Aces High or changes you would like us to consider.  We are all about listening to our flight sim players so feel free to drop a suggestion and we’ll see what we can do about it.

Just another feature that keeps us at the top of the heap as the number one combat flight simulator on the market.

As we continue our look at “This Day In WWII” let’s finish out the calendar of events to come.

  • September 7, 1942 Battle of Milne Bay
  • October 14, 1943 Black Thursday
  • November 8, 1942 Operation Torch
  • December 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor

Remember, no previous participation is necessary; all you need to do is show up on the day schedules, read the instruction in the Arena, strap on your helmet and fly the skies with Aces High.

We look forward to see you during the next Special Event; all flight sim gamers are welcome!

Another new week is upon us and that of course means a full schedule of Special Events to keep you flight sim gamers occupied.  Here is what is happening this week, April 9-12th.

On April 10th we have another Aces High XTreme Air Racing League event, a can’t miss event for those of you who want to match your skills against the best gamers in the world.

On April 11th we will be having another Snapshot scenario that will test your mettle on our popular combat flight simulator.

Sign up now and find out just how good you are; newcomers and veterans are always welcome!

We thought we would take a minute to suggest a must-see exhibit if you are in the Washington D.C. area this summer.  If you have never visited the World War II Memorial then we highly recommend it.

Located between Constitution and Independence Avenues in Washington, D.C., the memorial is flanked by the Washington Monument to the east and the Lincoln Memorial to the west.  It is open to visitors 24-hours per day, seven days per week and is run by the National Park Service.  This is a wonderful commemoration for the 16 million who served in the armed forces of the United States during World War II but also for the 400,000 who died during that war and the millions who were part of the support effort back home during the war.

For all you flight sim gamers who love Aces High because of its attention to detail, we can tell you that we at HiTech Creations do as much as we can to bring honor to those who served during World War II and that is why our World War 2 Flight Simulator is so accurate in its depictions.  If you love all things associated with World War II then going to the Memorial is a must trip for you.

If you are new to the world of combat flight simulators allow us to give you a brief description of what you will find.  There are other flight sim games out there to choose from.  Some of them have excellent graphics and some have excellent response times to the controls and some offer state-of-the-art terrains and skins.  Only one, however, offers all of these things and that is Aces High.  Our game has been at the top of the heap since we began over ten years ago.  We are dedicated to one thing and one thing only: to make our combat flight sim the best on the market. That is why we only make one game!  All of our efforts go into Aces High; we are constantly revising it and improving it while our competitors spread their talents between three or four games in their inventory.  We are the specialists and that is why we are Number One!

Summer is coming soon!  Plan on taking that trip to D.C. to see the Memorial and to get you in the mood go online right now, strap on your helmet and fly the skies of Aces High.  You won’t be disappointed!
