The MG 131 is a German 13mm heavy machine gun designed for the Luftwaffe by Rheinmetall-Borsig. This lightweight belt-fed weapon used electrical ignition in place of standard percussion primers. This made the weapon well suited for synchronized installations that fired through the propeller hub. The weapon fires a 13 x 64B cartridge.

In Aces High, the MG 131 can be found on later models of the Bf 109 and Fw 190, as well as the Me 410 Hornisse.
