I First played AH somewhere around 2000~2001, my in-game handle is NHawk.
In the past few years, I've contributed heavily to the Main Arena terrain selection. And will most likely continue to do so.
In 2000 at the ripe old age of 44, I retired from my position as the electrial controls manager at a major high speed, robotic packaging machine manufacturer. In 2004 my wife and I opened a gift shop which gives me plenty of free time to work on terrains and play the game.
My father was in the US Navy during WWII, and was stationed at Pearl Harbor as an Aviation Machinist's Mate H (aviation hydraulic mechanic).
