Images[edit]
Hi kvuo75, you can upload images via the "Upload file" link in the left toolbox. Once the image is uploaded, you'll see a page titled something like "Image:MyFile.jpg". Then you can add the image to the page with code like this: [[Image:MyFile.jpg]] or [[Image:MyFile.jpg|200px]]. Here are some more details.Cheers, Wantok 21:14, 10 May 2008 (CDT)
- yeah, but i get error "Error creating thumbnail: Incomplete GD library configuration: missing function imagecreatefromgif" when try to resize or thumb a pic.. btw, I'm tryin to resize my squad's logo for my userpage --> Image:AHWikiPrecision4.gif --Kvuo75 09:06, 12 May 2008 (CDT)
- Ah yes, sorry, there is a problem with .gif images (due to dumb licensing action by the patent holders of the GIF format). Just convert the image to a .png file instead using any half-decent image editor. I can point you to some editors if you like. PNG files and JPEG files are fine in the wiki - it's just GIF that doesn't work except at original size. In general PNG is a better format than GIF anyway. Cheers, Wantok 11:15, 12 May 2008 (CDT)
