| Version 2.06 Changes and corrections All 109s and Spitfires were updated with new shapes and skins. Added the Bf 109G-14, Spitfire XVI, Spitfire VIII. Changed the 109G-10 to a 109K-4. Changed the Spitfire Vc to a Vb. Made a major overhaul of the network smoothing system. Planes should no longer jump around when in large formations and small jitters of 3 feet or less should be minimized when flying in close formation. Made changes to lower memory usage. The memory savings are most pronounced when in the ground vis mode. Skin downloads now have to be enabled from the hangar menu and are only available to subscribers. Collision messages are no longer generated in offline mode. Turret and gun traversing in other players planes and vehicles is now rendered smoothly. Shadows were being clipped incorrectly that caused some flashing issues. The video resolution correctly defaults to your current setting in the video menu. Bombs and rockets were not disappearing when the wings departed the aircraft when using object optimization. Guns on the trains now function again. Changed the armor penetration model on extremely oblique angles. Fixed smoothing errors related to gunning in other player's vehicles. Fixed a bug that could make your simulation clock run fast in offline mode. Fixed a sorting error with the squad art the Panzer, M3 and M16. Fixed several graphical issues with the trains. Fixed the shading on some trees in the terrain. Fixed a sorting error on barns in the terrain. Fixed a display issue with bridges in the terrain. B-24 vertical stab shadow now displays correctly. P-51 shadows were not affected by aircraft damage like missing wings. Fixed some general Z buffer sorting issues and minimized some others. Fixed a bug with drone flaps. You no longer immediately fly again when you're holding down the spacebar and exit flight. The collide message is no longer limited to once per flight. Scaled the PT Boat in the hangar so that the torpedos are visible. Changed how the distance from an object is calculated with regards to blast radius. Bailed out pilots can no longer pass through other players vehicles. Bailed out pilots can also be killed by moving enemy vehicles now. Added a visible tailhook to the Seafire. Other carrier planes will receive their tailhooks as we update those models. Changed the shock absorber properties on the CV tailhook wires. |
