Installing the patch manually
To install the patch manually, you will need to download the correct patch executable file.
WARNING: Failure to install the correct patch will render the game corrupt and require a full download and installation.
Check the current version of the game you have installed by starting the game. In the upper left corner of the opening screen is the version and patch number.
If your current version is Version 2.17 Patch 3
Use this patch (59.71 MBytes) to reach Version 2.18 Patch 2, if you wish to install it manually.
If your current version is Version 2.18 Patch 0, or Version 2.18 Patch 1
Use this patch (5.67 MBytes) to reach Version 2.18 Patch 2, if you wish to install it manually.
Changes from previous release
- Fixed an issue that caused WW2 planes to fly too fast.
- DVII, Dr1, and Camel now have a place for squadron art.
- Fixed an issue that caused it to be very difficult to get fuel fires started in WW1 planes.
- Fixed an issue that would cause the fuel fires not to destroy the plane in the WW1 planes.
- Fixed a bug that caused vehicle resupply to not work correctly.
- Tire rumble and vibration no longer happens when sitting on the deck of a CV.
- Fixed a problem that caused the individual gun sound sliders in the sound setup not to function correctly.
- Fixed a 3D model problem with the propeller pitch on the F.2B and Camel.
- The anemometer on the Dr.1 and DVII now spin the correct direction.
- Turning off tracers in the Dr.1, F.2B, and Camel now works correctly again.
