Installing the patch manually
To install the patch manually, you will need to download the correct patch executable file. WARNING: Failure to install the correct patch will render the game corrupt and require a full download and installation.
Check the current version of the game you have installed by starting the game. In the opening screen is the version and patch number. It is located in the upper left corner of your computer display.
If your current version is Version 2.11 Patch 3
Use this patch to reach Version 2.12 Patch 1, if you wish to install it manually.
All other versions will need to use the auto-updater or manually install the full version of the game.

- Fixed a bug in the F4U-1 and 1A that would continue to show a fuel leak after the wing was gone.

- Tank guns can no longer fire through objects through which they are protruding.
- Fixed a bug in the M8 and Panzer IV that caused an "Invalid Component" errors from certain hits.

- Adjusted material of muzzle flashes.
- Removed chain link fence from vehicle bases.
- Fixed a bug on the Me 262 that caused the the wrong engine to stop spinning when damaged.
- Fixed a bug on manned gun positions that sometimes caused icons to disappear.
- Fixed a level of detail bug that caused certain ground objects to disappear when they shouldn't.
- Changed the artwork of bullet holes.
- Fixed some sync issues between treads and wheels on vehicles.
- Fixed a bug in the Lancaster that would leave the vertical stab intact when the horizontal stab was destroyed.
- Fixed a bug in the .r command (replies to the last person who sent you a private message without tuning) that would cause it to lose track of the last person to privately message you.
- Fixed a gunner in planes with single gunners that would result in an erroneous viewpoint after you ran out of ammo and hit the backspace key.
- Dive brakes now show up on other player's planes when deployed.
- Flashing base under attack icons update more accurately.
- Tank drones no longer appear on the runway or at the CV groups in offline mode.
- Fixed a bug with external engine sounds on multiengine planes so that shutting off one engine doesn't silence all engines.
- Fixed a CTD bug in the destroy objects CM menu.
- Help tips now display long enough to read when you aren't preloading textures.
- Once bomber drones land, they will destruct if you take back off and fly more than 3 miles away.
- Arena names now update correctly from the lobby when using the .sr and .f commands.
