When thinking about the continued popularity of Aces High, we are reminded of the Mona Lisa.
The Mona Lisa was painted in 1503 by DaVinci. It is easily one of the most recognizable paintings in the world, and has been seen, either through the printed medium, online, or in person by, conservatively, 90% of the world’s population.
And yet, despite that popularity, people continue to make a pilgrimage to The Louvre, in Paris, each year to see it in person.
Aces High flight simulator has been one of the best combat simulators since 2000 and yet, despite twenty-three years of success, people continue to play it and we continue to have new subscribers.
There can be only one explanation for that: In our own way, we are the Mona Lisa of flight sim games!
