The Douglas A-20 Havoc, otherwise known as the Boston Mk III, was a multi-purpose aircraft used by the Allies during World War II. It served as either an attack aircraft, a light bomber, an intruder or night fighter aircraft during the war.
The Havoc, of Boston, was used by the U.S. Air Force, the Soviet Air Forces, the Soviet Naval Aviation and the Royal Air Force. The Soviets received about a third of these aircraft made during the war years.
