Flight Simulators

Here is a bit of World War 2 trivia for you:  what aircraft began the war known as the “Widowmaker” because of its high incidence of crashes, but ended the war with the lowest loss rate of any USAAF bomber?

If you said the Martin B-26 Marauder you would be absolutely correct.  There were 5,288 Marauders produced between 1941 and 1945, most of which were flown by the United States Army in the Pacific, Mediterranean and Western Europe Theaters.  By war’s end it distinguished itself as the chief bombardment weapon on the Western Front.

You can fly the Marauder on Aces High, the number one World War 2 flight simulator.
