This question, about flight sim games, was raised the other day during an online conversation. Why would players want to help other plays to improve their games, when all that means is an increased possibility of losing more often?
We find it hard to digest this question. The players on our game, Aces High, love competition, and the best way to improve the competition and thus force us to improve our game, is to help make the competition better.
Think of it in terms of a pro athlete. They will never improve their game playing against a sixth grader, but they will improve their game playing against someone with the same, or better, skill level.
