1999 was the year our founders sat down and wrote out a mission statement. Admitted gaming nerds, and also admitted history nerds, they wanted to create a game based on World War 2. However, the mission statement was a bit more detailed than that. They wanted to create just one game, and they wanted that game to be the best World War 2 flight simulator on the market.

That is because we have a team of dedicated staff, and an equally-dedicated team of volunteers, who have poured over history books, noting every small detail, and reproducing those details in the game’s aircraft. The same can be said about the ships and the ground vehicles.
Even our weekly and monthly competitions are replicas of actual World War 2 battles. Our strategies are based on actual historical data. We are not messing around with this game; we want this to be as close to the real thing as is possible without a time machine.
